Houghton Hall: 20th May 2013
What a fantastic day! The children, parents and grandparents enjoyed a trip to Houghton Hall. The day started with an opportunity to explore the adventure play area.
We then listen to a story!
After the story we went through a secret door . . .
Through the secret door, we saw the spectacular gardens. Once we were in the gardens we found a rainbow of ribbons. We sang the song ‘I can sing a rainbow’, using sign language. We used our ribbons to look for matching colours in the gardens.
After we had enjoyed our teddy bears picnic lunch we made our way to the woodland area. In the woodland area Kelly led some Forest School Activities. We made dens and shelters, went hunting for minibeasts, explored the woodland and even climbed inside a tree!
