Outing to The Play Barn
At Stepping Stones we celebrated the end of term with a trip to The Play Barn.
We loved the indoor play equipment!
We liked the tractor ride. On the journey we saw lots of animals.
Time for a picnic lunch with our friends and family.
We even had time for a pony ride.
Everyone had fun at The Play Barn!
A visit from a digger!
On the last day of term we got to visit a digger working on the new Woodton Playing Field.
Outdoor Learning day with the Willows Class.
The children of Stepping Stones enjoyed participating in an Outdoor Learning Day, led by the settings Forest School Practitioner Kelly Norton.
The children enjoyed making headbands, exploring the ice mountain, making swords and wands and cooking in the mud kitchen.
Construction using marshmallows and spaghetti!
Miss Snelling helped to make natural head bands.
The children made water channels using guttering. A fantastic time was had by all!`
Fun at the school fete.
Lot’s of children from Stepping Stones and Woodton Primary School enjoyed the school summer fete. Not only did they enjoy the fantastic weather but they especially enjoyed the bouncy castle!
Children made tiaras and swords using lots of glitter and sparkles.
There was even time to hook a duck!
Whilst the children enjoyed the many games and activities on offer, the adults enjoyed some refreshing treats from the ice cream van!
Celebrating Wimbledon 2013
The children have enjoyed watching clips of Andy Murray on the iPad. They have collected pictures of Andy Murray from the newspaper and they have even painted some fantastic portraits!
Some children made models of Andy Murray’s trophy using the stars construction set. We have all been very busy!
