All aboard the flying carpet!
The children enjoyed a day of fairy tales on the last day of term. They were greeted by staff dressed as princesses, and later enjoyed dancing at the nursery ‘ball’.
After the dancing the children climbed aboard an imaginary flying carpet to become involved in story time. Kim led the children on an adventure to meet a princess. They all became very involved in the story telling and soon took on roles within the story. We had knights guiding the flying carpet, princesses showing off their jewels and even a king!
Pizza Extravaganza at After School Club!
What a fantastic night! the children enjoyed making pizzas using a variety of toppings. They also ate bread dipped in olive oil, bread sticks, salad and of course olives!
There were many opportunities to discuss healthy eating. The children were encouraged to try new foods, and they loved the parma ham!
Don’t forget to look out for our next speciality night on Monday 4th November!
