Our staff

All staff at Stepping Stones are fully qualified and hold up to date first aid certificates. Together our staff form a dedicated and committed team.

Staff at Stepping Stones are always working hard to improve their professional development, qualifications and personal achievements. Some of the achievements of the Stepping Stones Staff team are detailed below.

Kim and Nats attend the Norfolk County Council Annual Early Years Conference.

Kim and Nats loved the music area. They explored new musical instruments, lights, sounds and some fabulous sensory equipment!

Kim and Nats participated in workshops, and attended seminars, based around the theme "Well Being".

Nats enjoyed the circus workshop, where she learnt to juggle!

Meet the staff team.

Kim Harper: Proprietor. 

Kim holds a Childhood Studies BA (HONS) degree as well as the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). 

Kim has recently trained to become a Forest School, Level 3, Practitioner.

Kim has completed Signalong training, and leads signing within the setting.

Kim's favourite children's book is "Whatever Next" by Jill Murphy.

Kim carries out the following roles within the setting:

Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)

Behaviour Management Lead Practitioner.

Safeguarding Lead Practitioner.

Health and Safety Management.

Nina Kendrick: Deputy Manager.

Nina holds a Pre Primary Montessori Level 3 qualification.

Nina's favourite children's book is "Juice The Pig" by Martine Obourne.

Nina carries out the following roles within the setting:

Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO)

Safeguarding Lead Practitioner

Aleysha Staines: Early Years Practitioner and Forest School Leader.

Aleysha holds an NVQ Level 2 Early Years Care and Education Certificate.

Aleysha holds a Level 3 Forest School Leaders Qualification.

Aleysha's favourite children's book is "Alice in Wonderland" By Lewis Carroll.

Aleysha carries out the following roles within the setting:

Forest School Leader.

Andrea Toplis: Early Years Practitioner.

Andrea holds a Diploma in Early Years. She has also completed a Steiner-Waldorf Early Childhood Training Course.

Kelly Palmer: Early Years Practitioner.

Kelly holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years.

Kelly's favourite children's book is "The Snail and the Whale" by Julia Donaldson.

Leonie Self: Early Years Practitioner.

Leonie holds a BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care, Level 3.

Amber Horne: Early Years Apprentice.

Amber holds a Level 2 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification.

Amber is currently working towards a Level 3 Qualification.

Amber's favourite children's book is "The Magic Faraway Tree" by Enid Blyton.

Jilly Treharne: Early Years Practitioner.

Jilly holds a Qualified Teachers Status.

Jilly's favourite children's book is "Stick Man" by Julia Donaldson.
